A little more about me.

I didn't really set out with a plan to work in content and digital marketing. A lot of it started with basketball.

I created Pure Shooters because I wanted to share what I knew about shooting and help players improve. Starting with no audience meant that if I wanted people to actually see what I was making, I had to figure out how to earn their attention. That meant learning how to come up with ideas, shoot and edit videos, write hooks, understand an audience, read performance, and keep adjusting when something wasn't working.

What started as a basketball page eventually grew into something much bigger, and somewhere along the way I realized that I genuinely loved the process behind it. I've since had the opportunity to bring that same curiosity to other brands and audiences, and I'm still figuring out better ways to do it.

Basketball has also given me something that has nothing to do with views, followers, or content.

I've spent years coaching players and teams, and it's probably where my passion for helping people shows up most clearly. Coaching constantly forces me to understand the person in front of me. Something that clicks immediately for one player might make absolutely no sense to another, so you learn to listen, communicate differently, stay patient, and keep looking for another solution.

I've found that I bring a lot of that same mindset into my work. I like hearing different perspectives, working through problems with people, and being around teams where everyone can contribute something.
